To provide our financial tracking services, we collect:
Authentication Details: Email addresses and secure hashed passwords.
Transaction Logs: Expense tags, amounts, and metadata manually added or extracted from local PDF statements.
Ledger Records: Unsecured loans manually recorded between friends, flatmates, and family.
3. How We Process Bank Statements
Our PDF statement parser runs client-side using Javascript in your browser window. Your sensitive bank statement files are parsed locally on your device to extract transaction text, and are never transmitted to third-party servers for scraping.
4. No Data Sharing & No Ads
We do not integrate with third-party advertising networks. We do not sell your email, financial stats, or contact logs to mortgage brokers, banks, or insurance agencies. Our business is funded entirely through premium subscription fees.
5. The 1-Click Database Purge
If you ever decide to delete your PaisaKidhar account, we provide a 1-click purge button in your Account Settings. This immediately and permanently deletes all database columns, login credentials, and stored details from our servers.
